The Global Occupational Standards for GHG Professionals establish a comprehensive, internationally informed framework outlining the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to perform GHG accounting, reporting, verification, mitigation, and climate strategy work with integrity and technical excellence.

Developed by the ECO Foundation in collaboration with ECO Canada and the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute, and validated by an international Technical Working Group, this standard provides the foundation for the global EP® (GHG) certification and serves as a trusted reference across industries and regions.
